The Heart of America Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association offers a variety of scholarship opportunities throughout the year. From membership scholarships and discounts to national and regional conference scholarships, we aim to make professional development accessible for all grant professionals, regardless of income-level or institutional support.

2026 National and Chapter Membership – May Round
Membership in the international Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and your local chapter allows you to become a part of a professional organization dedicated to grant professionals. Membership is open to any individual with an interest in and commitment to the grants profession. Become a member for education, resources, and networking! 2026 Grant Professional Certified FIRST TIME Exam Fee – May Round
Did you know that grant professionals with a strong background in education, experience, professional development and community involvement can become credentialed as a Grant Professional Certified (GPC)? Become GPC-credentialed to demonstrate excellence in the grants profession and establish credibility! If selected, the Heart of America Chapter will coordinate your registration with the Certification Institute to advance you to the next step. Please don’t automatically register and pay. The candidate exam scholarship is for FIRST TIME candidates (not retake).
